It would be great if we could highlight a game name in a post and hit a button a bit like the link button, but one that would let us link to a game on mobygames/gamefaqs/rfgeneration/glitchwave to enable people to easily find out more about it.

It could also be a shortcut for easily embedding images of a game. I always think discussion is much richer when there are images and links to support the text.

Lastly, if a discourse plugin needs creating I’d happily volunteer to create it.

I read that this exists [https://meta.discourse.org/t/linkify-words-in-post/82193](https://meta.discourse.org/t/linkify-words-in-post/82193)

With this plugin, correctly configured, we could type _Downhill Domination (PS2_) and it would automatically become [Downhill Domination (PS2)](https://www.mobygames.com/game/ps2/downhill-domination), or similar.

I think this is a great idea and I’ve brought it up with the team.
