Video Game Music |OT| - Not just Robot Farts and 5-Second Loops!

I’ve always thought those vinyl releases of video game soundtracks are kinda sketchy.

For starters, most of them are unlicensed.

But the biggest thing that I think is weird about them is that the music in video games is digital until it reaches the speakers, essentially. You aren’t getting any kind of actual benefit to having it on a vinyl record.

I have a few and I think they’re cool collectables! I think the ones I have are all from either Data Discs or Ship To Shore.

But they’re probably the only records I buy that I’m not buying because I want to listen to them (I buy a lot of records).
