I remember reading about this (and Dizzy etc) in British magazines in the 90s. It was a complete alternate early history of gaming because none of the 8-bit micros had much of a presence in Australia, I only remember Apple IIs and the odd C64.
Being from Canada, I hadn’t played it until this week, really fun game.
@Peltz I was thinking it might be fun to do a high score battle for 1st level only of Starfox 64.. any caveats you can think of for that? Most hits wins would probably work.
I think that would be a good one to do. I would choose which version of the game (n64 vs the new one) since they have subtle differences in enemy and object placements.
The new one is also easier due to the higher frame rate.
