While not actually a retro game it is from a retro series near and dear to a lot of our hearts. Please lock if not allowed.
I love Metal Slug. But this is just not doing it for me.
The trailer and music are absolutely fantastic. I love the energy. But I’m not seeing what people are digging about the gameplay shown in it.
Metal Slug is all about giant bosses and cool sprites and stuff. This is not that. Maybe I just really want Metal Slug 8 so badly that I’m unwilling to say “yes” to anything else using its name right now.

Weird how the tactics ‘genre’ developed. I enjoyed a couple of tactics games, but don’t have time for turn based stuff anymore really.
Still they got the look exactly right.
