Classic shooting action that in my opinion is Choplifter with planes. Well, that and you don’t actually recue anyone.

How many multiplatform games can you name that started life on the Amstrad CPC? There’s not many, that’s for sure.

That’s a new one for me. Never seen or heard of it before. Definitely a game left in Europe and Japan.

I have vague memories of it from the day. I guess it was only popular in certain home computer circles.

While others are going all Christmassy, Battle of the Ports is going all grungy with this week’s show.

The Saturn version looks like a surprisingly competent port. This was always a game I was interested in playing but I was put off by the lack of translation.

It trully is, just a shame it’s a competent port of an awful game.

These days which one of those retro handhelds would you recommend the most to someone who wants to play a wide variety of systems?

I’d go with the Miyoo Mini Plus running Onion OS.
It gives great performance for the price, built well and has a good community behind it.
It also has a very nice large IPS display.

That looks good. The only thing I don’t like about it is the lack of analog sticks but I think that’s not too important.

Full size arcade controls on a portable arcade system? That’s got be to great, right?

Since this is a Pandora’s Box type device, I wonder if there’s a JAMMA harness inside it.

It’s been a while but here we are with a new Life in Japan video. There’s much to see !

There’s just so much going on in the Mega Drive Homebrew scene.
