How do you make a 3D fighter on a system that can’t really handle it? BALLZ 3D is how.
I came down with the flu and had to work on Christmas day but that’s not stopping this week’s Battle of the Ports from being released!
Enjoy the last Battle of the Ports for 2025. This is Blockout.
Oh man, I used to love this game on the Amiga back in the day.. controls are great once you get the hang of it.
I didn’t know there was an arcade version, I imagine it’s very rare at this point.
In this first of a new series we take a look at obscure arcade developers that you may have never heard of. Starting of the series we take a look at Korea’s SunA. One if not the first true Korean arcade game developer.
Yakumo rant mode! Lol.. this game does look horrible, I should give it a try on the Amiga.
Could force myself to play it for “Jankuary”.
Jankuary ,
nice,!
Great video as always.. you mention that Salamander 2 is the third installment in the series, but I can’t for the life of my find what the 2nd in the series would be. What game is that?
That’s a very good question.
Basically Salamander is the first with Life Force being the second. Life Force has so many changes that it technically becomes the second game.
Ah gotcha. I really should sit down and spend some time with the Salamander games. I have a 1cc on Life Force, but never really put much time into the arcade games.
A 1cc on life Force is pretty good going. I’d really struggle doing that now. Getting older sucks as you loose your edge when gaming except on “lucky” days.
After covering western games for the past few episodes, it’s time to go back to a japanese title and this time an action RPG that started out on the NECPC8801
This is Battle of the Ports - XZRII, otherwise known as Exile.
