What's your console/computer history?

Me too, I was far more into computers than consoles (still am), but o did own a master system.

The 800XL was amazing. I still have mine. I got the cassette drive and I still remember the ungodly wait to play Temple of Apshai and praying it loaded correctly. Jeez… thank goodness for that cart slot and some quality cartridge games. Robotron with twin Atari joysticks in the plastic stick holder was incredible. It was an arcade at home!

I got a floppy drive later and that really opened me up to new things. Ultima IV on there blew me away. I still own that boxed as well.

I had a friend with a C64 so I’d take my disks that you could flip for the C64 version and we’d compare. Pitstop II was like two different games! That was a super cool feature of double sided floppies at the time.

BROTHER!

Had to add a sneaky edit to include my Naomi.

I did have acess to many other micro computers and several different PC’s but never owned them including a C64 and Amstrad CPC. Was mostly using 386/486 PC’s with DOS and Windows 3.1 during my early teens.

I did had a computer running GEM OS for a while but really can’t remember the time frame or what it actually was!
