Link's Awakening DX Eagle Tower Glitch - HELP

Although this isn’t my video, I just got this same glitch and, like a jackass, saved the game. The ball is stuck and I can’t lift it using the bracelet. I tried leaving and entering the tower and it didn’t reset the location of the ball.

I will try dying on purpose when I play the game after work to see if that resets the ball’s location, but I am starting to think I ruined this file and will need to start the whole game over. What a bummer considering how close to the end I was.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this?

There’s definitely something that resets the ball position.

Play Mambo’s Mambo to reset the dungeon.

Or I think you can just leave and enter the dungeon again. Or die.

None of those worked. Think my file is screwed :frowning:

Hmm, seems unlikely… outside of the warping hack breaking things I’m not aware of it having any game breaking glitches.
