My daughter was in the studio with my today and was flicking through my Japanese game guides and pulled out Runabout 2, and I opened it on a random page.

Guess a bit more of added context to that past picture, reached credits and it seems that is the logo for the Publisher of the game; Headup Games.
Which was actually mentioned here over a year ago;
You didn’t seem to have a way to add them to your database before, but now there is at least one direct in game reference to them using a Moai as their logo.
There’s a company called Rockhead Games that also has a moai as their logo.
Seems like it to me.

That statue kinda reminds me of the one on Quackshot’s box art.
The headband means the DK one is an Olmec head.
I probably let a few of those in before realising the difference. I’ll kick them out at a later date.

Nice! I switched to iPad for Retro Gamer and have really enjoyed it. I miss holding the mag in my hand, but I’m just plain out of space for mags.
