NEC PC Engine/Turbografx |OT| – No friends to bring controllers? No problem!

That dude is a beast with the consistent videos. A worthy successor to Chronturbo.

Impressive 3D

video

It’s basically Geograph Seal X68000 (the precursor to Jumping Flash PS1) on PCE

I’ve not seen the video yet but I’m very intrigued in to knowing how such a game runs on a stock PC Engine!.
I think this will be today’s lunch break video of choice :+1:

Just checked out all that guy’s stuff and it’s INSANE. So much content so well done so frequently.

I can barely see how it’s possible, with playing the games for a couple of hours each it’s got to be a full time job, and a hard one. And he doesn’t seem to have a team even?

One thing he does is that he builds up a big buffer of uploads.

update: RGG modded TG16 + turbo everdrive pro is the goods, reading every disc image i throw at it. so very pleased! i’m pretty sure the stereo sound is going as well, will check again when less inebriated

This is pretty great. Another cool chronology series.

I’ve always wanted to explore more PCE. I could use my RG35XX handheld I suppose. But that krikkz RGB adapter and an everdrive would work well if I wanted to take the next step. I have a RetroTink 2X Pro now and it works quite well for hooking up my NES and SNES with RGB out to my big OLED TV in the living room. So glad all these gadgets are available to us now.

The first TV manufacturer to build in RetroTINK hardware has my axe.
