It’s a bummer that these are all digital. A dual analogue video mod with native res support for each screen would be more popular.

It’s not every day that we discover games which completely flew under the radar but there’s a racing game on the DS which surprised me: Clash King V201 (JPN name) or Sideswiped (NA name).
Has anyone played this game? It’s a bit like Thrill Drive and Burnout but with crazier physics and even crazier mini games:
Looks amazing! The physics programming in particular is really impressive.

MobyGames reveals it was developed by a company called Recom co Ltd but there isn’t any information on them. But most of the staff are ex Takumi Corporation and previously worked on shmups like Giga Wing. Apparently you unlock a shmup when you complete the game!

DSi CFW has much improved recently, faster loading times of your games and better menu and etc.
Is anyone’s top or bottom screen a different colour?, I love my DSi XL but the top screen has a subtle red tint to it that makes me want to dig out my original DSi…
Just recently I sent my Nintendo DS to be modded for direct capture, hope to have it back soon.

It’s possible. Only a few units have the same (IPS?) screen both top and bottom.

Yeah, I’ve had it since it came out.
I think you’re right its just two different panels with slightly different colour. I’m only so picky about it because its my favourite handheld of all time.

That’s really great!! How does the PC software feel?
It works perfectly, I can take pics and videos with ease. I gotta mess with the sound settings since it needs to be a bit louder.

Question: does a DSi with the custom firmware allows running DS games off the MicroSD? What about GBA? AFAIK, all the hardware needed is still in there…
