Nintendo Music app released for iOS and Android

Nintendo has released a music app for iOS and Android.

Apple App Store | Google Play Store

This app is available to all subscribers to Nintendo Switch Online at both tiers.

At launch the full soundtracks to the following are included:

Nintendo Entertainment System

  • Metroid (NES)
  • Super Mario Bros.

Game Boy

  • Dr. Mario
  • Kirby’s Dream Land

Super Nintendo Entertainment System

  • Donkey Kong Country
  • Super Mario World 2: Yoshi’s Island

Nintendo 64

  • The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time
  • Star Fox 64

Game Boy Advance

  • Fire Emblem: The Blazing Blade

Nintendo GameCube

  • Metroid Prime

Nintendo DS

  • Tomodachi Collection
  • Nintendogs

Wii

  • Super Mario Galaxy

Crazy that this is a separate app rather than just on iTunes or Spotify. But Nintendo is going to Nintendo.

I scoffed at the idea initially but I gave it a go and have been enjoying the DKC soundtrack all day.

App is kinda clunky but as a bonus on top of a sub I’m already paying for, it’s not bad. Wish they bothered to make an iPad version though.

Looks like in some cases Nintendo is completely re-arranging their music
