I really liked that stick and used it for all my fighters and arcade game collections on the OG Xbox.

It’s pretty good, I like it. The body is made out of wood. The joystick and buttons are made out of Happ parts.

I have the European 2 Player version of this PCB. Absolute brilliant game and congrats on getting one!
Looks like yours is the 4 player version and really nice that you have the HAS 4 player adapter to match it.

The HAS 3/4p adapter works great! The only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to take the top cover off to really be able to plug in the 3/4p cable.

But this LRG release of Dangun Feveron arrived. Not terrible but not what I expected. I think I’m done with these releases. Hell I’m a big Deathsmiles fan and I’m passing on the new ports for the time being.

I also used some of my CEX credit from trade in of a load of junk games to get a Zelda DX:
The battery was leaking in that cart but hadn’t done any real damage yet thankfully.
I had spare batteries on hand for it anyway.
Not really been finding so many bargains of late (bad time of the year I guess) and my wants list is actually getting a lot smaller and starting to comprise more of games I can not justify the cost of actual purchase.
I did, however get given this bundle of stuff for free AKA “hey, I want some stuff repairing for nothing bribes”:
The Mega Drive controller needed some contact cleaning due to some corrosion, but otherwise everything works fine. The PAL Super Nintendo pad is very discoloured on the top but for some reason it is hard to notice that in the photograph.

On a related note I framed a TMNT print that I’ve had sitting at my parents house for a while now. It took me a while to save up the funds to get it framed the way I wanted but I’m delighted by how it turned out. The TMNT games, movie and TV show were all such a huge deal for me growing up and I still love the turtles to this day

I have a few posters that I finally had framed a few months ago, after 15+ years of having them in plastic Ikea frames. Feels nice to finally have them up on the walls. One of them is Cave’s Dodonpachi, coincidentally.

I’m more excited for the series x to be honest. I haven’t had an Xbox since 360, and was a big fan of the brand. In fact, I got the original Xbox at launch.
So I have a lot to catch up on. Looking forward to trying out game pass and enhancements of old titles too.
So I don’t feel a 4k set is quite as critical to how I’m going to treat that box. I’ll be mostly in catch up mode rather than seeking out current gen.
For PS5, I just want to play Returnal and Astrobot really badly. But I do want to grab a 4k set first to experience it in HDR. So for now, the hardware will stay factory sealed until I’m ready to pop it open.
