Oh yeah, it’s a weird and fun rabbit hole to go down for sure. I’d love to track down one of those awesome high end Sony computer monitors at some point.

Thanks! I love playing all kinds of stuff on mine. These shots are on a Sony BVM-14F5U. Playing modern stuff on it feels like traveling to an alternate future. I also have a big Philips widescreen CRT that I mostly use for PS3 and Xbox 360 stuff.

I’m looping Fatal Fury: Garou - Mark Of The Wolves into the Extron Crosspoint, it works perfectly. Hands down one of the best investments ever.

Wanted to play some metroid prime pinball on the desktop instead of handheld.
Dragged my dell 2405fpw 1920x1200 from storage upstairs, rotated to portrait mode.
After a little tinkering, this looks and plays pretty well.

How are you doing that loop? The Extron only supports one input into multiple outputs. Did you configure the switch to act as two separate switches with an RS232 connection?
Trying out some more DS games on a vertical 16:10 display.
Some titles account for a virtual screen gap, and some titles like this one treat the
dual displays like 1 seamless display area.

I’m not sure if certain Extron units are not capable of looping in and out with the same signal but my model is capable of it and no RS232 was used in the chain.
