I need this in my life.
Are you using an extron? I think I remember you my a switch connected allowing down sampling to 240p.
I wonder if vlc has any plugins which could do a similar thing.

I’m actually using a Corio-CT-400 scaler. Did the same thing to my PS3. It was actually my wife’s idea to watch Stranger Things on the CRTs. I love how it looks!

Really nice texture work on DC! Not sure if it’s an artefact or trick of the camera but it almost looks like there’s an attempt at faking sub-surface scattering on the skin (the nose and chin in particular).

I don’t want to make a new thread, but I’ve been noticing on several other sites, old screen shots have either expired, lost domain hosting or been taken down. Even the old Gaf forum falls victim to this.
I’m wondering should something of a preservation project be made due to the fact that this is all good enough to qualify as reference material that may have some importance in the future?

Whether you copy and paste an image into our site or upload the image directly, our server actually hosts the image. It’s configured like this specifically to avoid that same issue that we saw on GAF, even though it takes up our storage.
To avoid storage issues, our host occassionally runs a lossless compression algorithm to reduce the size of images that have been posted to the site. We also have a max size limitation that is large enough not to affect most uploads.
Hopefully, this future proofs the site enough to avoid any broken screenshot links that you see on other forums.

My LG F920P shows only progressive scan when connecting Dreamcast or laptop through VGA cable. Picture stable.
