But the same manual is used for all three versions so there could just be minor differences - there’s no differences between models listed for ports (page 30) or specifications (page 32)
I got the 20S2020 in mid-2007 so I guess it depends on when the 20S2030 released - a techradar review is dated early 2008 so it might be a more recent revision.
If you are playing all the Panzer series on the Saturn. Saga even it was released almost at the end of the Saturn’s life chronologically the story is the first.
Music is absolutely fantastic on there I just wished they had the budget and time to add optional rare monsters etc…
It’s a very old 720p model Polaroid. (46" Polaroid Model 4641-TLXB). I’ve had it since 2007. I thought about upgrading it but it has 2 component inputs, s-video, and VGA in. Most importantly it recognizes the DTV signal from the Dreamcast. It appears it’s identical in specs to harborlines_765’s Bravia.
I know this is a Saturn thread but the only other picture I seem to have is an AV famicom outputting composite to the FM on the Polaroid TV. I’ll replace it with a proper Saturn one later.
Picked these up today. The analog works nicely with Panzer Saga. I’m surprised how amazing the new Saturn controllers are,I really like the feel of the L and R buttons compared to my japanese ones. They also feel less loose than my og ones,if you shake the old ones the buttons rattle around alot more.
Sexy Parodius is my favorite, but I agree with @Laevateinn that any Parodius is a great palce to start. If you’re looking for a good value on the Saturn grab the Gokujou Parodius Da! Deluxe Pack. I’ve seen Japanese copies go for as little as $23.
I’ve always red that the Saturn makes real 2D as opposed to the PlayStation who can’t and recreate 2D games with 3D engines.
But in concrete terms what are the problems when playing 2D arcade conversions on PlayStation ? Independently of quality of each conversion, slowdown or loading, for exemple what will be the problem to play Street Fighter 2 on PlayStation instead of Saturn ? Input lag ?
Cause the Saturn conversions of CPS games miss a peace of image on each board, due to resolution (not the case on PlayStation).
