I’ve watched the trailer twice this morning… I’m actually really excited. Mainly because it looks like such a trainwreck. I’m hoping that the movie just goes absolutely bonkers and doesn’t take itself even one smidge seriously, it could be really fun that way. The crazier the better. Go FAST.
The comparison that I keep coming back to in my mind is McGruber. That sort of tone (obviously minus all the sex jokes and foul language) would be perfect.
Honestly it reminds me of a lower quality take on the Detective Pikachu movie concept. In this case, lower quality can be good.
Detective Pikachu looks so much better than this.

I’m still going to see it though.
