Looks like you want to hit up Oogie Games in Tonawanda and I-GOT-GAME at Eastern Hills Mall.
That I-GOT-GAME has one bad review that drags it down but if they have what’s in the pix from a year ago, that looks like a potential gold mine.
Whenever you travel, simply put in “retro game stores near me” in Google Maps. Just look closely as some will be board game stores.

Yea I did. Actually went to a deserted mall and there were like… 3 different stores in it with a bunch of traded-in media, including very healthy selections of video games. Ended up grabbing Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Silver on GBC, Golf for NES, Jet Force Gemini, San Francisco Rush, Dr. Mario on NES, and Comix Zone.
The selection was much bigger, but everything else was overpriced. It was a pretty decent haul of fairly common games for fair prices though.
