Maybe that Amazon cable is really capable of more. If looking at your FRAPS capture frame by frame shows unique frames then I’d say your good and play on
What’s the music at 1:50 in this video?
I use a set of those Amazon cables and I can confirm they will allow up to 1080p at 60fps at least. I use it for connecting my Dreamcast to the TV via a BB Hdmi box. Think it’s called the Gekko.
The video shows this vinyl.
“Outride a Crisis” track 2 side A
But the video seems to use an arrange version?
Hey thanks! I found the name of the song. Outside a Crisis from Super Hang-On.
Did you find the exact version?
Here it is
Yep. I found that exact video. Thanks man.
If it’s alright with all of you, I simplified the title of this thread to be a catch-all for My Life in Gaming’s content.
Watched part 3 last night. The part on Evan Amos was great and the book of his is getting a second revision soon. Great way to support someone who’s work is literally everywhere.
I never knew what he did. I always assumed those Wikipedia photos were from another source. Craziness and also much needed.
That was an awesome watch. Really wish they’d put a list of the games featured up somewhere.
Does anybody know the games featured at the following timestamps:
25:25
27:15
33:23
33:32
37:02
It’s a really fascinating thing. His work is literally everywhere and you may never have even thought about the fact that it is actual “work” until it’s pointed out. And it’s a thing that it’s not like tons of people are out there doing it/it would have been done either way.
33:23 is Bahamut Lagoon. That’s the only one I recognize.
Interesting interview with Near (byuu) about translating it recently on Vice.
Gradius V, Contra Hard Corps, Bahamut Lagoon, X-Caiber 2097, no idea what the last one is.
EDIT: The last one is Blood Gear on the PC Engine.
Awesome, thanks a lot!
Nice, will give that a watch. Thanks.
Really enjoyed that! Cheers
Great article!
