Let me know how it worked out for you, and if u need instructions it is Menu > User Config 1/2 > Comp Level > Beta 7.5 (change to either BetaO or SMPTE (I believe smpte is the NTSC standard broadcasting which is why it fixes the crush) but I found BetaO to be just fine, I was having black crush playing fable, it was awful, this completely fixed it.

Looks like my Xbox doesn’t want to boot up at all. 
Gotta get this thing repaired. It will be a few weeks before I have time to take it in - work and life are kicking my ass lately - I’ll report back afterwards though.
