Fantastic!!
Some really good videos from them even though I don’t think I’m anywhere near as hardcore as I should be to understand everything they talk about.

I thought I was in the right place, now I know I’m in the right place. MLIG justifies YouTube for me alone, so I’m super excited to be part of the same discussion as Cory and Marc!
I know that we’ve been talking about doing this for awhile, and this is still planned. Our big thing is that we really want to work directly with a professional on this one and it just hasn’t come together the way we wanted. We came close when we tried to work out a collaboration with eBay seller and retired Sony tech, Savon-pat when we were in Los Angeles shooting for the Night Trap documentary, but he was going to be out of town at the time. That was a bit of a bummer because he’d absolutely be our first choice when it comes to this stuff.
Since then, I’ve tried to contact people more local to me and I can’t seem to get any response. So, its still gonna happen, we just don’t know when.
This is definitely my most anticipated video. I hope it all works out.
Thanks, good to know you guys are trying to do it right by bringing people who knows about these things.
Didn’t someone on GAF get their PVM calibrated by Savon Pat? I recall them not being too impressed but I think it was mostly due to an underscan of the image.
[edit] Kawika, it was you wasn’t it?
welcome ya’ll, good to have you!
PS i almost bought that N64 kit you guys hyped up last year but then i remembered that time Diehard GameFan convinced me to buy Tail of the Sun and i just cried instead
Just finished watching MLIG’s “Getting the Best Picture from your PlayStation 2 - MY LIFE IN GAMING” video, and I have to add this to the PS2 OT thread, this is everything you need to know about PS2 display setup.
GREAT WORK GUYS. Your effort and research is notable and appreciated.
