Been making a radical change from an “every system hooked up” setup to a much smaller “cram what I can onto a desk” setup in a much smaller room.
Not quite done yet but I came up with a nice way to make leaving some consoles unconnected very easy to work with and tidy looking: magazine files.
Here’s what it looks like with a bunch of consoles in their own container with AC adapter + AV cables (s-video for everything but PCE). Thought the Genesis+SegaCD was a bit too much so took that out but I was surprised the Saturn fit in these 4 inch magazine files just fine. I’m not doing everything like this but of the systems I own, the SegaCD setup, GameCube, Xbox, and PS4 Pro are likely the only ones that wouldnt work.

Obviously I picked these for the woodgrain. Then I can just pull one of these out and quickly attach to my desktop CRT TV as needed:
