Recording CRT Computer Monitors - LGR video

Some good tips here, such as using a wider aperture and to de-focus slightly to avoid Moiré, also goes into a bit about colour correction. Pretty cool how his Lumix can match refresh rate down to the tenths.

I thought it was interesting how much of a difference the LPF on his GH5S made. I’ve heard that model is meant more for video but it really demonstrated the difference for his use case at least.

Yeah, that made a big difference in his example. I’m guessing most phone cams will have LPF? seems no-LPF is highly desirable to the more high-end cameras these days.

My biggest question is regarding issues recording 60hz on a CRT in countries with a 50hz power supply.
