Always nice to see the result when people who look after their possessions, those handhelds look almost new!
Enjoy Tetris Plus - it’s such a good fit with the Game Boy Pocket.

Nice! I made about ten more tries at it at least and never even wrapped around past the UFOs once again.
Time Pilot is probably my favorite game of the early ‘80s. It looked so good at the time, played incredibly well with that smooth scrolling effect they generated with such a simple use of foreground clouds and that joystick was heavenly! It was all metal!! The same one was used on Gyruss which is easily among my top ten favorite games of the period as well.
I will be all over Arcade Archives Road Fighter next week too. I adore that game. Konami kicked so much ass at that time.
Yeah, I absolutely love Time Pilot. It’s a game I always associate with vacations as a kid. I remember in the 80s staying at hotels that would have arcade machines, and I would almost always find Time Pilot. Played the heck out of it. I wonder if Time Pilot '84 will come to Arcade Archives.
I hope they do bring that to the line. It’s much lesser known but I think it’s just as good. It definitely has a different feel than the original which is timeless in its simplicity, but nevertheless it is a great game all the same.
OutRun is absolutely incredible. M2 do an amazing job bringing these Sega classics to the Switch. I will probably own them all.
Outrun is fantastic on the Switch. I’m super excited for Virtua Racing
That’s so cool. Two RGB users right next to each other on the leaderboards.
You and me both! I really can’t believe it’s happening!
Someday we’re going to be able to play Super GT at home officially. On that day I may cry…
BTW, @GraveyardDuck, I’m sure you noticed, but they removed the red crosses from the parachute guys in Time Pilot. C’mon… really?!
I’m not surprised. Somewhere a long time ago I read about how protective the Red Cross is about their logo. I think that’s why the red crosses were also removed from the original Doom when it was rereleased on xbla
Yeah, I’ve seen those articles. It’s just silly, though.
I can confirm that Gamestop is potentially a good source of cart only Super Nintendo games. These are both in very good shape.
Here’s what I’ve picked up over some months, I have a few more, but they’d be difficult to get onto the photo.
Awesome! Nice pickups!
Thanks! I remember when we got in Final Fantasy III at Electronics Boutique. $79.99. I didn’t pay that much for it (paid about $40) but now I can give it the respect it probably deserves via the Super Nt and a complete playthrough in its original form. The total bill including tax was $56.
New Pick Ups.
Actually got a whole box for of PC games, but these were the only big box games.
Some of the PC Manuals included in the book.
Also a copy of the PC Version of FF8. PC game packaging used to be so awesome.
Finally found a copy of Pinball of the Dead!
Grabbed Ridge Racer solely because I want a copy of SLPS-00001, or the first commercial PS disc. The earliest disc I had before it was SLPS-00031 (Kyuutenkai Fantasic Pinball)
Last of my stuff showed up. Out of buying stuff for a few more months when my new job starts up then I’ll go nuts on it and my collecting will kick back into gear.
Woah, had no idea Innocent Life was released on PS2. I wonder if there were more obscure PSP to PS2 backports like that. I think Taito’s Tokobot was another one
Oh crazy, didn’t know that. Wow took them 2 years to back port it over as well.
