I skipped it back in the day, didn’t realise it’s technically a forerunner to Rune Factory either!

Woooahhh how much was ninja gaiden 3

I think he wanted $50 CAD but I bundled it with other stuff and got everything cheaper than he wanted.

Got these two LRG packages this week.

Shantae AND Axiom Verge? Now that’s awesome. Both of those are such great games. I’ve never played Axiom Verge, but heard good things about it!

Little late but here’s my MGC pickups:

I was mainly looking for pc engine stuff, but I couldn’t not get the Japanese copy of Mega man V for $10. Also Atelier iris, because yes, I do need another atelier game :stuck_out_tongue:

Nothing big, but I thought this official PSP game case was neat. Couldn’t pass it up for $3.99.

The other side opens too, so it holds 8 UMDs.

This, friends, is a B&K CRT tester and rejuvenator.

You basically hook it up to the neck of an old crt, and it should diagnose certain issues regarding the color guns. TV repairmen would carry these guys around, hence the case.

The rejuvenator part comes in when you hit the “Dynamic Intensifier” button, the the machine sends a worryingly large amount of voltage to the neck, theoretically clearing out any shorts that may exist.

This is basically the last and final resort to get my Pengo monitor to show the color blue. The chassis is fine, the wires are solid, now it’s time for electroshock therapy.

I will be standing far away when I hit that button.

There’s plenty of these available on eBay, I bought one of the cheaper ones. If it doesn’t run like it’s supposed to, it does make for a cool retro shelf item and conversation piece.

I’ll update the arcade thread when (if) this thing works.

Picked up a Parodius Da pcb from a friend of mine. He was selling some boards to raise funds to buy another pinball machine. Super excited, as Parodius Da is my favorite of the series, and the arcade version has a more difficult rank system than the home versions.

Don’t do this to me! You are making me want to get one myself…
But first I really need a decent stand alone test pattern generator and get more competent at manual adjustments.

Picked up a Sync Strike and Retro Board to use in my cabs. Why did I not do this sooner! Amazing to be able to play some of these console shooters on an actual arcade!!!

That Retro Board look pretty darn cool. Shame it is rather expensive and that I already have an ipac2 setup in my control panel.

What does the retro board do?

Allows you to use your arcade stick with every console up to Xbox.

Oh damn. I need that! Does it need any modding? Or is it a straight converter?

Nope, install it like any other board. Only thing you need to buy are the RJ45 cables for each console.
