Picked up the Japanese version of what we know to be Legend of the Mystical Ninja. Been over a decade since I played it - and back then it was the 50hz PAL version.
Other recent pickups include Grand Kingdom on the Vita and one of the 3DS versions of ‘I am an Air Traffic Controller’ - specifically the Kansai International game. I haven’t found time to try either yet but they certainly look interesting.
awwww yeay~!! EVO was last weekend!! which means, I went to Las Vegas and looked around a bunch of local game shops instead lol.
went to a few stores but wasnt actually in the mood for buying anything. Ultimately found these at a shop called Gamer’s Paradise.
Under The Skin is a game I’ve been looking for for a while. Found a $20 disc only copy at another store which I almost bought, but put it back hoping I could find a complete copy for that price. So glad I did coz I did find a complete copy for much cheaper!!! and that copy of TRAG is rough, but $3 is a huge steal!!!
as far as EVO proper, I bought some cool Puyo stuff, a Windjammers shirt, and an artist alley drawing of Twice lol.
finally, before EVO, I drove 2 hours in Los Angeles traffic to hunt down the only copy of Arc Rise Fantasia that gamestop website said was available in store in the entire state apparently. $20 for disc only, for another game that’s been on my radar for a while. I’m still open to finding a complete copy, but this is another rare game that you just never see for sale at local shops, conventions, or trading events

Just received a couple of 8bitdo SN30 Pro+ controllers. Played a few mins with them and I’m really impressed. They really did an amazing job!
Same feeling I got when first playing with the M30 controllers a few months ago. 
Nice. I’m interested in these. What system and games did you use them with?
I mainly used the M30s with my Shield TV and PC (mainly for playing MAME).
I’ll be using the SN30s with the Shield and Switch as well.

But treated myself to Japanese Goldeneye and a nice minty perfect stick N64 controller! Both were very cheap so I could justify them haha
NOW is the time to get Japanese N64 stuff if anyone is interested. Still cheap as chips.

Yeah, I picked up my NTSC-J System with a controller pak, expansion pak and controller for peanuts.
