RGB Pick Up Thread Of Swag!

It’s been a long time, I should not have left you.

I finally found a Sony OEM stand for my Sony KV-27S42.

I also picked this up, I’m geeked!

Oh damn custom stands for monitors/TVs are just so premium. Get to have the equipment of a rich person in the past.

After being so annoyed this wasn’t getting a phystical release on Series X after checking out Amazon and Yahoo market place after I saw the DF Retro feature, I was so surprised to find out it was and I had ordered it from Limited Run probably months before the DF Retro video and completely forgotten about it.
Gradius Origins. Mostly for Salamander III and the unreleased Japanese Arcade proto! So looking forward to playing this after tea.

Nice, I’ll be waiting a while for my NES style Classic edition…

I grabbed BokuNatsu 1 very cheap (Yamatoku on ebay finally sending to Australia again!) to try and muddle through and use a translation app if needed. Shin Gojira approves!

Picked up a ton of top shelf retro gaming goodness this month. This is my first time playing FF Tactics and am loving it. Used a $20 gift card from Best Buy on SMG 1+2 so at least I didn’t have to pay Nintendo’s ridiculously greedy full $69.99 asking price. And I’m definitely addicted now to collecting Evercade carts.

Not really retro unless we count the series.

Posted this elsewhere but my 3D arrived, and while I’ve barely had any time to tinker with it what I have seen is really impressive.

I got my first Switch 2 game despite not owning the console yet.

I guess it’s like buying Black GBC carts back in the day before you got a GBC.

It is going to be super annoying maintaining my complete PAL+Japanese Metroid collection because I’ll probably convince myself I have to get both versions in both regions eventually. Even though they’re all technically the same code lol.

Very nice. I see a NAD amplifier. What’s the rest of the sound setup?

Quite basic actually - just a pair of Triangle Titus Ez bookshelf speakers. I’m long overdue to pick up the sub.

Terminator 2D for PS4. I wanted it on series X but that cost almost twice as much here in Japan so I ended up with the PS4 version. Surprised to see I was sent the Day one edition with extra goodies.

I’ve been on a bit of a PlayStation racing binge as of lately. Most of them are awful or some such as GT Championship could be great if the controls were not so slow.

Out of this bunch, Taito’s Side by side is the winner. A pretty good port of the arcade game

Ha, I saw a gif of Side by Side yesterday and was like, “huh haven’t heard of that, it looks good.” Glad to hear it is good. I’ll check it out.

I grabbed a few early Konami PS1 games for 100 yen each in 2014, including that one, and yeah all are pretty clunky. PS1 before 1997 was a strange console, overall had a kind of 3DO feel.

Some of the special stages are crazy difficult which is a shame. It also lacks variety in the BGM. Only one track for every stage.

Still, it is a fun game when racing on the tracks which aren’t stupidly difficult.
