A quick test on my Super Famicom and PSone here and I could see no decrease in quality here at least!
Mine’s from Germany too, but Norway is closer and postage was fairly low!

I must have tiny hands, because I find the Joycons super comfortable to hold. 3ds and Vita can fuck off though.
I stumbled across this package this week…
HORI brand JoyCon Grip. Not the same as the one above as it’s for using the JoyCons separately, but still looks good for people with larger hands than the Grip that ships in the box.
This seems to have a pretty large grip for those with larger hands. If I am going to use the switch in this mode, I might as well just use my pro controller but if you don’t have one and find the switch is making you cramp. Oh and this charges your joycon because it has a battery bank in it too.
Agreed on the Pro Controller, but that HORI one looks appealing because it does add girth for the triggers which the one you linked to doesn’t seem to do. Anyway, it’s good there are options out there.
Oh this is the same as the Splatoon 2 joycon grip. I didn’t realize they had trigger buttons too. That is a useful feature.

Yeah, I played Retro City Rampage on Vita, and was super disappointed. I love the fact that it got ported to DOS though, that’s awesome.
Switch is cool, man. I feel the same senseless need to buy obscure games for it. I’m currently figuring out if I want to get Tiny Barbarian and 88 Heroes on there.
The dev seems like a cool enough guy. He’s done alot of dev posts I found very interesting.
Yeah I’m loving it. I don’t know why I feel the need to buy all these EXTREMELY overpriced games physically when I either have them on another system or I could get them right from the Eshop for 1/10th the price.
I’m really struggling today with buying DOOM on Amazon just to save the 20% off because it’s DOOM and it’s portable. sigh
Retro city rampage was pretty meh. It’s still better than GTA though.
So I’ve just returned from a trip to Japan. Here are my pickups, didn’t really splurge or anything, this is just stuff I’ve really wanted for a while, and replaced some games I have misplaced. Next time I’m going for a NeoGeo AES and crazier stuff.
