Right on, Mega Man X4 is awesome and easily one of my favorites in the Mega Man X series.

Boy this looks incredibly good. Rare to see such an authentic setup like that.

Thank you, I really love it.

The add-in card I showed off in the pickups thread will be lots of fun when I get the kickstart ROM upgraded and can take advantage of it. It’ll get me up and running with a more modern desktop environment which should be interesting.

Those little speakers are so cute!

Those mice… so ergonomic!

Haha the aptly named Tank Mouse

They’re pretty good! They’re little Altec Lansing ones with a sub that I found at a thrift shop for $15. Much newer than the computer though.

The Amiga was amazing. Definitely one of those Holy Grail machines for me as a kid that I have never owned and only had brief interaction with way back then. It’s awesome that you’ve got the whole biz there.

We had an Amiga 1000 as a kid, and then later a 1200, so they are very special to me.

Yeah, I recall you writing about it here in the past. It’s super cool. We all have such interesting backstories to why we love what we love from retro gaming. You were lucky!

Never heard of Grundig before. But this looks exactly how my main CRT growing up looked. Super thin -almost imperceptible- blank lines between the pixels giving things a very organic look.

Thanks. About scanlines - same here!

Grundig is / was a German company, now owned by Turkish conglomerate Arçelik A.Ş, (Koç Holding).
From Wiki:
Originally a German consumer electronic company, Grundig GmbH was founded in 1945 by Max Grundig and eventually headquartered in Nuremberg. It grew to become one of the leading radio, TV, recorder and other electronics goods manufacturers of Europe in the following decades of the 20 century. In the 1970s, Philips began acquiring Grundig AG’s shares, leading to complete control in 1993. In 1998, Philips divested Grundig. In 2007, Koç Holding bought Grundig and put the brand under its home appliances subsidiary Arcelik A.Ş. Koç is a publicly-listed conglomerate with more than 80,000 employees

My parents had a great model of Grundig in the 80’s, that was beautiful.

Shoot, I actually didn’t read this properly and thought it was Origami King!

Grundig did some great looking TVs. Very good industrial design.

Got some $10 Retrobit Dreamcast S-video cables to play the 240p games, and I gotta say I’m impressed. Tried Bangai-O that I’ve been meaning to play forever that just doesn’t boot up properly over VGA. Doesn’t hold a candle to @SNESFan89 's awesome vibrant shots though.
