Those Ys shots are beautiful. Is the 1440p mode mainly for desktop/PC 4K panels? I have a TCL 6 Series 4K TV with HDR, until now I’ve been using the 1080p modes but have been wondering if the Tink’s 1440p mode would work well.
Here are some more RetroTink5x shots. TG-16 and PCE games I’m using RGB SCART on modded Turbo Duo. For Saturn I’m using official s-video cables for now.
I did use the 1080p fill mode but I feel the filters look much better at 1440p. Sure, the whole screen isn’t filled but my TV is so big that I don’t even notice. Games all still feel exactly the same as they do in other modes as well, so no added lag.
Good to know, thanks. I only tried 1440p mode briefly because until now I assumed it was intended for monitors and not TVs but I’m going to check it out again.

My new project. A garage arcade from a used mini business PC and X-Arcade tankstick! Made it so my dad and I could stop blowing so much money on Golden Tee at the bar! Lol
My TCL 6 Series suddenly died on me, upgraded to an LG 55 inch Class C2 series OLED, testing the RetroTink5x on it, scanlines seem to look very good on it so far with no overscan issues unless I’m mistaken:
