SCANLINE SCREENSHOT THREAD. BECAUSE 240p IS ALL THE P'S I NEED. (56k warning)

I tend to use an articulating desk lamp with a 3000k temperature bulb. Color temp of the light you use actually makes a difference. I think these systems would look better with a cooler temp light than what I’ve been using to be honest.

Yeah for sure, the OEM screen seems to be massively influenced by the light it receives to the point that the slightly warmer 32pin version of the GBA can be made to look cooler if you have say something like 9000k.

I just love how with the worm light follows the screen, it’s such a comfortable way to play just sucks that they create a spotlight rather than an area light which is what’s so exciting to me about this clip light!

Played some Princess Crown after the recent translation release. It’s pretty rough but it was great to finally play it, if nothing else it’s a really pretty game

Looks great - what CRT is that on? Love the textured look.

My understanding is the english release is rather contentious. The person who put it out there essentially took credit for the work of others over many years before.

I’ve been following the recent storm in a teacup with this game and it looks like they forked a public repo willingly provided by the original devs under license, and fully disclosed this fact in this new release as well as crediting them as having provided the base code. I honestly don’t see the issue with this

those guys were so inactive that the thread on Romhacking (that I used to check in on periodically) was closed last year because of a lack of updates. my humble opinion is that they’re just salty someone beat them to the punch, and we’d likely have a much better and less buggy version out now if they’d have just asked for help or made their supposedly superior version that they’re currently sitting on, public and given their blessings to whoever wanted to fork it

CRT screenshots from my recent gaming session with Ninja Gaiden III (Ninja Gaiden Trilogy) on Super Nintendo + I’ve corrected some geometry on Sony Trinitron KV-21T1R (BE-4 chassis). Too bad that SNES compilation does not have full endings like NES / FC games did.
Setup:

  1. Sony Super Trinitron KV-21T1R (BE-4 chassis) with native Scart (RGB)
  2. Nintendo Super Famicom Jr SHVC-101 with RGB mod.
  3. Xiaomi Note 5 Pro android phone (old, but gold)
