E3 2018 - Japan Strikes Back?

With how the big games are perceived, I think you’re on to something. But most of Japan’s output was previously on handhelds and supplemented those big games. Handheld development is all but dead and has been shifted to mobile - it does make me sad that these kinds of games are no longer being made. I think once Atlus has released Persona Q 2 on the 3DS (itself hardly as unique as Devil Survivor, Trauma Center or Etrian Odyssey) that’s it for Japanese handheld support.

Well, at least there’s that new Umihara Kawase game on the Switch.
