Dreamcast is already 20 years old. That gen is retro for sure.
Agreed. I think for them it’s been a slow move toward even PlayStation/Sega Saturn/N64 for Retro! A lot of people just don’t realize how old they are.
Retro Gamer’s 2019 calendar has been pretty cool all year, but August is my favorite.
Genesis/Mega Drive was pretty cool last month.
I noticed today whoever staged the photo was definitely not a gamer. Can you tell how I know?
The controller plugged into 2p side?
You got it!
Maybe that person likes to play the 2p side. I know I can throw a dragon punch better from that side as opposed to p1 side.
I used to have subscriptions for Nintendo Power and GamePro. I will never forget this issue for some reason and how giddy I was running up to my room the day I got it in the mail. Not sure why though. It was I believe their biggest issue yet.
This thread only reminded me of it.
Throw away those old Street Fighter games, Chester Cheetah is here and he’s too cool to fool!
I’m pretty sure I had (have?) that issue. You guys are making me want to dig out all my mags.
Oh man, Pentium 133, 16mb RAM, and a 1.2 GB hard drive. That would have been awesome for some Quake 2 action, as long as you had a GPU. Assumed that it would include one, as it’s a gaming magazine.
What’s the best way to protect and display magazines? Looking for a hard case/ shell for a few of my mags.
I don’t know about hard shell, but know there is clear comic book protectors and backing boards in sizes that fit magazines as well. Figure that with some sort of angled display would work for something you want to show/see.
