DOOM turns 25 today and on this anniversary John Romero has announced he’s releasing a “spiritial succsesor” to DOOM that picks right right after episode 3.

The coolest part about this ? It’s going to be a WAD file for the original DOOM!

Is it really a " spiritual successor" when the original designer of a game is releasing the mod ?
