It might be a feature, it happens to this guy as well (at 8:18)… I wouldn’t be surprised this Fonzie character put in the effort to troll everyone by having this fake game load on first boot.

Yeah the mock mini game is present for everyone at first boot. Only after rebooting does it go away forever, unless you have an incompatible clone console.
An unpowered 32X can be also used to access the game again.

I finally managed to find some time to play the game for an hour or two. No freezes and crashes on my 1600-20 model 1, just some flickering of sprites when there are a lot of enemies on screen. I don’t have a Mega CD or 32X. Gameplay wise it’s not bad. It lacks the depth of a Streets Of Rage 2/3 in terms of moves, but it’s a close one. The specials are a bit lame, since they seem to be only just one powerful move you can do for a short amount of time. I’m happy they added the option to turn off damage to the other player, since playing this with my 6 year old son this way is a lot less frustrating. I haven’t unlocked any new characters yet, but it’s pretty cool you can do this. In original mode I like it when you died and continue, you will start and escape from a new location where you’ve been hostage, instead of the regular first stage. All in all I’m happy with the game not being a total waste and I for sure will play it more.

So apparently once you get all the endings in one save file, it locks it and you can’t play it again? And you only have 3 save files. And if you delete a file, you lose the bonuses.
What a bizarre decision.

I’m also waiting on a game I ordered on 15th Dec. Not Paprium. I guess postal services really do have a Christmas break!
I was just more worried seeing other people getting theirs a while ago at this point, so glad to hear others are also still waiting/it’s not an issue with my order.
Yeh I’m expecting a long delay because there’s still very few flights coming to NZ. With other stuff it seems like parcels just sit there for weeks doing nothing, but once they’re finally on a flight, it’s fast.
The thing I’m worried about is that they’ve shipped it under a service that isn’t currently operating to NZ.
Let me guess, shipped from the states, right? Mine is the same. As to be expected, Water Mellon games customer service is shit. No reply to my tracking number request.

yup. Shipped from the states to the states though so that is what has me worried. Since this seems to be a real product now that they are actually sending out I can appreciate how set back the entire process is. Game development and production are two completely separate things and as long as I get what I paid for I’m fine waiting.
Has yours moved at all? Mine just says it’s shipped but nothing further. Just sitting in LA.

Nope, just says December 15 shipping, LA United States.
I’m very annoyed bout this. Mine should have been sent from Europe, its much closer to send stuff from Europe to Japan than from the states. When sending from the states it will actually stop off in Europe
