That looks incredible… when is it done? :stuck_out_tongue:

I do like the look of that. Very nice. I hope they make a physical release.

Me too. I’d snatch that up in a second.

One of the Mount Rushmore of retro sports games for me. Tecmo Super Bowl, NBA Jam, and NBA ‘Live 95 would be my other three.

I have more nostalgia for NHLPA ‘93 because it’s what I owned and mostly played back in the day, but ‘94 is a better game overall even without fighting.

Same here. 93 was the one I owned but 94 was such a major upgrade.

Finally did it!

Love the sequel tease at the end ----and then we get Shin Shinobi Den BARF!

Lol I’ve gotta give it a shot still, I mean it can’t be any worse than that one gba game…?

Also:

Another down. That last stretch was just nuts! Mega Turrican is really fun, but some of the stage layouts and enemy placements just seem random as hell.

Is Rolling Thunder 2 an essential play, or should I just go to 3?

Rolling Thunder 2 is the better game. Definitely play that before 3.

My favorite run’n gun on Megadrive, so good to play.
I slightly prefer the arcade version for the passing, but overall I love this game (however the Megadrive version has some interesting exclusive content).

Really love Rolling Thunder 2 but I’ve never been able to beat the final level.

It’s a harder game as well right?

I can’t believe I 1CC Streets of Rage 3 on Hard for the 1st time, that has to be one of the most insane things I’ve done for retro gaming, and I 1CC a lot of games as well.

yeah, 2 is in my top ten on the system, even if ill prolly never finish it haha

For purely nostalgic reasons I picked up a beat up PAL Sega Mega Drive II - I adore those red buttons as it gives the whole console this 90’s Darth Vader aesthetic.

As you can see - while not in bad shape, the console was filthy.

The controller wasn’t much better either

So I soaked all of the parts in warm soapy water and got to work with a stiff tooth brush cleaning everything out of the nooks, crannies and crags of the MD II.

I’m always paranoid that some water will get on the board when I button everything up, so I leave it out to dry for a day.

Here’s the finished product - with a little bit of plastic conditioner ontop to give it a bit of a buff and I think it looks amazing. Now I just have to figure out what to do with it.

That MD2 came up a treat. Nice.

Plastic conditioner ? What’s did you use ?

I use Meguiar’s Plastx I’m not sure if there’s an equivalent available overseas but it’s traditionally used for auto plastics (headlights etc) but it is excellent at removing small surface scratches and restoring the sheen to ABS plastics, you only need to use a very small amount too.
