The Sengoku games are fun but…yeahhhh, Psikyo went pretty raunchy/tacky with the female characters in the sequels.

shmups twitter posted a breakdown of all the seller-specific pre-order bonuses for the various ESPrade LEs (click on the Twitter links to see the LE pictures, pics aren’t displaying here in the embedded posts). Looks like the Amazon edition cover maybe isn’t Prime locked? I wish I had a way to order the BEEP edition. 
Also, what’s a “can badge”?

Strictly Limited Games is doing a Western release of the Darius Collection. Though it’ll be on 2 cartridges/discs, ohh and they’re porting it to PS4. Price is still stupidly high IMHO.
When I heard about this I was tempted to pick up just the console games cartridge. Since the one I have is just the regular arcade only release. Then I saw it’s 60 bucks for the console cartridge…yeah that will be a pass from me.

Yes, but if you buy the special edition, it also comes with a 2-disc soundtrack sampler of tracks from the Darius series, an artbook, and other stuff. That’s the best value. I already bought the standard version of the game, but I’ll probably double-dip for the LE, since it’s nearly $100 less than what the Japanese special edition was, AND it’s confirmed that the console side games will actually be on card/disc. Plus it’s on PS4 now, as well, so that’s attractive.
How hard is it to order from SLG? Is it as crazy as LRG to try and secure a copy? I really only want the console edition one, as I already have the regular jp version
Yeah I want to know this too, I’d rather not double dip as I already have the Famitsu edition Japanese LE boxset but there are a lot of extra goodies in this one that will be really hard to resist, especially the translated art/history book not to mention all the Beep style stuff like the PCB box, instruction sheets ect. Who am I kidding? I own both the JP Garegga box and the LRG Garegga box, of course I’m gonna double dip. 
Edit: Wow, their Bubble Bobble 4 Friends boxset is ridiculously nice too with similar arcade extras.

Darius isn’t a series for me that I get super into. I like some of the games and such but I’ve never been into the way I’ve gotten into the Raiden series or some Cave games. Honestly if the console collection was 40 bucks I would jumped on it, now ehhh I’ve got the flash carts I’ll play them on the actual hardware instead lol.
I’ve been playing Raiden DX again the last few days, such a great game. I really wish we could get a new Raiden collection, I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: it’s so strange that the Raiden Project and DX have been it all this time for over 24 years (except for Raiden on the PS3/PSP JP PSN store). Makes me wonder if there is some weird rights issue holding up the original games.
Darius Switch LE boxset on SLG sold out within minutes, rotten scalpers really wanted it bad apparently. Fortunately I had self control and passed on it. Still gotta pre-order ESPRade anyways. PS4 LE is still up as of now.
Yeah I don’t know what is up with that. Raiden Project I believe is still the only home port of Raiden 2. I would jump for a Raiden Collection on Switch. Something like the Raiden Fighter Aces pack on 360.
Even if it didn’t have V on it just give me Arcade perfect ports of 1, 2, 3, and then DX and 4.

I caved in and got the Switch CE in the second round of orders this morning, I should probably get help. But all the SLG exclusive items were just too nice to pass up. And I can always resell the carts later if I want to since I have the original CE cart which has all the games together on it which is much more convenient.
I pre-ordered ESP RaDe the instant it went up. I freaking love that game, been dying for a home port for ever. I passed on the US release of the Darius collection firmly.
