Nice! The 1st Gunbird will be my shmup club game for next month, so I’ll be playing a bunch of that. Been a while since I fired up Gunbird 2.

If you love shmups it is 100% worth the money. If you don’t want to have to drop as much you could wait for a cart-only auction to come along.

Not that I plan on buying MUSHA but how can you tell what the game is by looking at the PCB?
I think you can just tell it’s a legit Sega game. Reproducers always cut corners on the PCB.
There are also a number of sites that have cataloged which pcb has been used for which games. Some even have pictures provided, like;

That being said, it’s normally easy enough to tell what was official pcb.
By the by, was it Musha or Grindstomer that had the messed up cart that will always go bad? I think I remember something about one of those super expensive games that always kept me from going after it.
Grindstormer has the shitty capacitors. I don’t know if it’s just the Western version, though.

Not sure if it’s on MAME but Shienryu (aka Gekioh) is great if you want some solid, laid back Raiden lite gameplay, was ported to both Saturn (own it) and PS1.
Good taste on Trigon, there. Got it several months ago on ACA, really enjoy it.

Red Hawk and Air Attack seems extremely Korean-core. Not sure I can handle the sheer jank energy that radiates from both.
