For emulation my go to was always the 4-Play. Over time Bliss-Box move the same tech to other devices. Like the Gamer-Pro, or the BlisSter. But recently to consoles!
This is the Bridge. Its really handy if you own consoles, especial any console with a controller you’d rather not use, or those that are too damn expensive.
Also the 4-Play advanced was announced and it looks much better then the original
So “that” ( aka 4-Play) , was a 4 player adapter that converted retro consoles to USB.
“This” (4-Play Advanced) is a new version of it.
The Bridge links either or to consoles.
Bliss-Box makes lots of products.
4-Play (no longer being made ) - 4 port USB adapter to USB
4-Play Advanced ( new version ) - 4 port USB adapter to USB
Gamer-Pro (no longer being made ) - Single port USB adapter to USB
Gamer-Pro Advanced (new version )- Single port USB adapter to USB
Gamer-Pro jr, a D.I.Y version of the Gamer-Pro
BlisSter - A 2 player version for the Mister.
Bridge - takes any of the above and links to a console.
Blender - Combines 2 controller in to one, or splits 1 in to two. Cool for smash TV or Robotron.
but yes if you get say the GPA and the Bridge, it allows any controller on any console.
Say you wanted to replace the intellivition controller with 5200
