Haha, it’s still awesome though, and you’ve succeeded in giving it that blast from the past feel, along with the desk and chair.
I grew up with a C64 and had the same monitor as well as disk drive cases similar to those, so it’s very nostalgic for me. 
I spent far too many school nights staying up late playing the Bard’s Tale games, for sure.
That’s a title I still haven’t tried, I really should!
Get the plexiglass. It’ll be worth it for the long run. You won’t have to worry about water stains from putting a glass down on it
Yeah I gave it some more thought, and I figure at least putting a clear coat on it is in order. That way it’ll be a cheap away to protect it.

2022 Game Room update!
grabbed a lot of things over the pandemic, winding down from spending now but got new hardware, some new shelves & a great dresser to hold peripherals...here we go!
