SCANLINE SCREENSHOT THREAD. BECAUSE 240p IS ALL THE P'S I NEED. (56k warning)

Most likely yes, a model for Russian Federation. Although I thought that for this model was made for all European countries.

PSP and scanlines? In 240p? How?

It’s just PSP screen in extreme close up.

I used to love playing Ikari Warriors in the arcade when I was growing up… What’s this port like, does anyone know if it’s arcade perfect ?

Imo, it plays like original.

Is the 2000 better than the 3000 for screen quality? Which is the better model in general?

Same model I have, and nice pics too!

I heard the 3000 model had the better screen, less ghosting I think. Probably worth doing a bit of research though as my knowledge of PSPs isn’t great. I have a 3000 model & I’m happy with it

Yes, 2000 models have ghosting in the image, but not in all games. Namco collection is inherent having ghosting - Rolling Thunder comes to mind. Plus, this model can be connected to the TV through the component cable (ypbpr).

I use component cables on my 2000 model as well.

Micro Mages - NESrgb, PVM-1954Q

Fun game so far, only had about 20 minutes to play it though.

[edit] bah, not the best pic. I’ll have to grab another soon. Once you start climbing a tower it autoscrolls up and pause removes the protagonist(s) and all enemies from the screen. Or…I’ll grab the title screen, so odd to see a (c) 2019 NES game lol.

Finished Super Mario 64 so I’m giving the DS remake a go. Emulating to my DiamondTron at native res. I’m using a hack to map the control stick to the analog things work pretty well, still not perfect, but much better than dpad controls.

Looks kinda line doubled or scaled.

That’s correct! My monitor seems to lose clarity when I try to go too far below 240p 120hz so when I try to natively set my monitor to the DS’ 256x192 resolution it looks pretty fuzzy. Instead I’ve been running the monitor at 528 x 388 (extra 4 pixels so I have room for a gap between screens if I decide to display both screens at once instead) but I can apply a shader to it and that basically looks like a clear version of what 192p 120hz should look like, still the scanlines that big can be a bit harsh especially up close so I’m torn between what I like more. Here’s some examples of that!

I prefer the latter for sure. What does it look like when you actually set it to native res? I’m curious to see it even if it looks soft.
