SCANLINE SCREENSHOT THREAD. BECAUSE 240p IS ALL THE P'S I NEED. (56k warning)

Mega Man 11 with a simulated filter applied

Source (and a video clip of it in action):

Not really feeling that, it just looks like a AGS-101 screen with bloom, doesn’t really evoke CRT for me.

Yeah, I didn’t want to call it a CRT effect like he had. I wouldn’t mind playing the game like this though.

Let me know if I’m bumping this thread too often guys, I’m just having too much fun with my CRT.

Not sure if this is the appropriate place but I just finished getting rainmeter nicely set up on my computer and wanted to show it off on the monitor!

It’s only me with a few more Illusion of Gaia shots and some Banjo Kazooie, both on my Sony KVAR25M31 via RGB. The Super Famicom shots are from a 1-chip with the brightness fix and the N64 shots as I noted above have the Tim Worthington board installed.

The green is there on the CRT but because the CRT overscan the image you can’t see it. Play the game on a modern flat pannel and you’ll see the green. This is why the Analogue SG has the boarder cover option.

But the green is right in the centre of the screen too, not just in the borders.

Make sure your cables have no kinks and your SCART pins aren’t bent anywhere in the chain.

It was just that one screen in that one game, that’s why it was so strange to me (and everyone watching the stream lol)

Oh yes. I didn’t notice that. Very strange.

Wow this is great art work!

This looks amazing!

I’ve got my AV Famicom ready to go for a NESRGB install and I think you’ve just convinced me to pull the trigger.

If it only worked on Contra and Castlevania to remove the shimmer it would still be worth it. It’s truly amazing.

P.S. the Monster Power removed the humming noise coming from the JVC TV.
