RGB Pick Up Thread Of Swag!

Carts picked up in a B2G1 sale at a local shop. I still manage to find some carts in near pristine shape locally here and there. Rage Racer was a local FB sale. Been playing a lot of it, already over 5 hours on my file.

Some psp pickups this week. Most titles are still super cheap. I’m refurbishing a bunch of psp 1000, 2000, 3000 consoles at the moment. Will post an add once they’re done.

Also working on these 3ds consoles that came in last week. Just waiting for replacement parts to come in. Most of these will be like new once finished.

Two more local pick ups for NES. Anyone played much of these?

Awesome! I played a bunch of Double Dragon 3 when I was a kid.

I’d be interested in grabbing one. Never owned a PSP before.

As @jbueno always says “New PCB day is best day”

Had a few problems with this PCB regarding its weird video/sync signals causing it to not play nice with any of my Sony PVM/BVM monitors. With the PCB having light and dark flickering issues that I can not seem to resolve. It’s not that bad as to making the PCB unplayable on a Sony CRT but is annoying enough that I’d rather not.

However if I set the HAS to pass through and TTL level sync my other broadcast monitors seem to handle it just fine.

Took a lot of digging around online but seems I am not the only person who has discovered this issue:

Going to stream the game for a bit before bed on my twitch channel:

That’s one I’ve been wanting to get for a while now. Classic!

I’ve had issues getting Raiden Fighters Jet to sync on my 20m2u. I found that messing with the hold in the service menu took care of it.

Good thing that it was an easy solution to your video issue. I have a couple of 80s era PVM1910s that I’d like to get a Super Gun to play some boards but I’m hesitant since some PVMs don’t like custom refresh rates of some PCBs. Because of that I don’t really want to spend tons as I already have a couple of cabs, if the upcoming Beharbros solution is under 100 bucks I’ll bite.

Anyways, congrats on the new board!

Yeah I hear those Seibu 54 Hz games have some issues on most displays that aren’t arcade monitors, but nothing adjusting Hold won’t take care of. Same thing happens when using Taito F3 games on my cabs, I have to adjust Hold every time when coming from non F3 games or else I get a scrambled picture.

‘limited edition’ two-tone Sony CRT…at least the screen is in good condition.

A little behind but figured I’d post the goods as well;

Honestly feel that the butt was one of the more interesting parts of the TV, so also included;

Really cool set. Even has a few hidden things that I wouldn’t want to spoil for people that are also building it, but I definitely was getting wondering what the fuck I was building in one segment that made no sense until it became clear to me. Also the working cartridge slot, with the up and down movement included, is rad as well.

Such a great model, I like that the back is fully detailed.

Finally tracked down this flyer, I don’t even think I’ve played more than a few mins of Spinball but such a huge fan of the 80s graphics styling Sega used here and on the Japanese covers.

I’ve beaten Sonic Spinball. It’s a very underrated title - but it’s very unclear what you need to do to beat that last boss which kind of kills the experience at the end.

I think I’ve seen that Chirashi at Beep before. One can spend hours browsing those and posters in that store. Congrats!

@Peltz It’s been a while since I’ve touched a pinball game, I do enjoy them so might check it out again. Thanks for the heads up on the last boss.

@jbueno If only I’ve known which stores to check out in Japan when I went last year! Can’t wait to go back once it’s safe to do so.

My N8 pro arrived today - only took a month to get here during a pandemic which was a nice surprise!

Really looking forward to putting this thing through its paces

Nice!

It works great - although sound samples aren’t playing in Akumajou Densetsu. Not sure why. I’m worried that its due to how I modded in the expansion audio mix through the NESRGB.

Everything else seems to play fine. I might post in the NES topic and see if anyone knows.
